Wilmington – September 3, 2024 – The NBA G League has officially unveiled its full schedule for the 2024-25 season, and the Delaware Blue Coats are ready to hit the court with a highly anticipated season opener. The Blue Coats will begin their campaign at home on Saturday, November 9, facing off against Raptors 905. The game is set to start at 6:00 PM, with doors opening at 5:00 PM. Tickets for this exciting matchup are on sale now via Ticketmaster, the Blue Coats’ Official Ticketing Partner.
As the Blue Coats aim for their fifth consecutive postseason appearance, Head Coach Mike Longabardi returns for his second season at the helm. Under his guidance, the team finished the 2023-24 season with a solid 28-22 record and reached the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The upcoming NBA G League season features 31 teams, including the newly formed Valley Suns, affiliated with the Phoenix Suns, and the rebranded San Diego Clippers, associated with the LA Clippers. For the first time, all 30 NBA teams will have a direct G League affiliate.
This season marks the fourth year of the NBA G League’s split schedule: a 16-game Tip-Off Tournament followed by a 34-game regular season. The Tip-Off Tournament kicks off on Friday, November 8, and will conclude with the crowning of a champion during the 2024 NBA G League Winter Showcase in December. Teams will be divided into four regions for the tournament, playing exclusively within their region to determine the top contenders for the Championship. Each team will participate in at least two games at the Winter Showcase.
Following the Tip-Off Tournament, records will reset for the start of the 34-game regular season, which commences on Friday, December 27. The top six teams in each conference will qualify for the NBA G League Playoffs, culminating in the NBA G League Finals presented by YouTube TV in April 2025.

– **Nov. 8** – The San Diego Clippers (LA Clippers) make their debut at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, CA, against the Rip City Remix (Portland Trail Blazers).

– **Dec. 19-22** – The 2024 NBA G League Winter Showcase will be held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando and the Orlando Convention Center.
– **Jan. 24** – The NBA G League makes its debut in Quebec, Canada, as the Long Island Nets embark on a six-game stint at Place Bell Arena in Laval, Quebec, near Montreal.
Additionally, the 2024-25 season will highlight various league-wide initiatives, including Hoops for Troops in November, Season of Giving in December, Martin Luther King Jr. Day games in January, Black History Month in February, and Women’s History Month in March.
