Wilmington, Del. — August 20, 2024 — Saint Francis Hospital, a distinguished member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marlow Levy, RN, MBA, FACHE, as its new president.
Levy joins Saint Francis Hospital from Baptist Health System in Jacksonville, Fla., where he held the position of vice president of operations and system leader for laboratory, environmental health, and protective services. His extensive experience spans several high-profile roles at leading health systems across the country, including the Mayo Clinic, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Sentara Health, and Kaiser Permanente.
“After a comprehensive national search, we are thrilled to welcome Marlow to lead Saint Francis Hospital,” said James Woodward, president and CEO of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. “Marlow’s clinical expertise and his commitment to our mission of serving the underserved make him the perfect choice to guide our hospital into the future.”

He also holds a Master of Science in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School of Business and Public Policy in Monterey, Ca., and a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
“As I assume this role, I am reminded that leadership is not about being in charge, but about caring for those in your charge,” said Levy. “The Wilmington community resonates deeply with me, reminiscent of the community where I grew up. I am eager to serve and lead here.”
Levy’s commitment to community service is evident through his extensive volunteer work with organizations such as 5000 Role Models, Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, and the American Heart Association. His passion for partnering with smaller nonprofits, like “Bridge the Gap” – Community Garden, highlights his dedication to making a meaningful impact in the communities he serves.
Levy will officially begin his role at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic on September 4, 2024. In addition to leading Saint Francis Hospital, he will also serve as president of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pa.
